It's that time again! The Sephora Holiday Savings Event is back, and this is the perfect time to buy holiday gifts for your friends and family or a little something special for yourself. The sale is open to Sephora Beauty Insiders, a free membership with benefits such as savings, samples, and experiences at participating Sephora stores. Not a member, but want to take advantage of the discount? All you have to do is sign-up for free in-store or online before the sale begins.

There are three different Sephora Beauty Insider tiers:

  1. Rouge – This is the highest Sephora Beauty Insider tier. Rouge members spend $1,000 or more a year, and they get 20% off at all Sephora Savings Events, free shipping when they shop online at sephora.com or in the Sephora app, and more.

  2. VIB – Members in this tier spend $350 or more in a year, and they get 15% off at all Sephora Savings Events and free shipping when they spend a minimum of $35 or more online or in the app.

  3. Insider – This is the starting membership tier, and it's free to join. Insiders get 10% off at all Sephora Savings Events and free shipping when they spend a minimum of $50 or more online or in the app.

I like to take advantage of this sale and treat myself to the pricier items on my beauty wishlist. Last year I bought myself the Dyson Hair Airwrap Complete Styler

Whether you're shopping for holiday gifts or buying something nice for yourself, here are my Sephora Holiday Savings Event Picks.

I'm always on the hunt for a good foundation for my oily skin. The Nars Soft Matte Foundation has become one of my favorites. It's great for all-day wear, and it looks so good in pictures. (I used it on my wedding day!) My other favorite foundation is not really a foundation, but a tinted moisturizer. It's the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint. This is a popular product, and I waited all summer for it to come back in stock. When it finally arrived, it was the only foundation I used for the rest of summer. I love how you don't have to use a brush or set it with powder to keep it from moving.

I've also been into creme makeup lately, and the Freck Beauty Cheek Slime Blush + Lip Tint was a surprisingly lovely purchase. I bought "Natural Finish," a beautiful color on brown skin. This blush is super pigmented, so a little goes a long way.

My last makeup pick is the Patrick Ta Major Sculpt Creme Contour & Powder Bronzer Duo. (I told you, I'm obsessed with creme makeup!) This contour and powder bronzer duo is one of the best bronzers I've owned in a long time. I was a little hesitant to use a creme bronzer on my oily skin, but this one blends beautifully and does not move around once it's set.

Like I mentioned at the beginning of this post, I bought myself the Dyson Airwrap Complete Styler at last year’s holiday sale and I love it. I originally bought it in the limited edition copper and silver color. To be totally transparent, the one I bought stopped working right before it made a year old. I traded it in for a new one under warranty (so don't forget to register yours). The Dyson Airwrap comes with six different attachments (two different sets of barrels for curls or waves, two different smoothing brushes, a round volumizing brush, and a pre-styling dryer) making it the ultimate all-in-one hair tool.

I also own and love the Drybar Double Shot Blow Dryer Brush. This was my first blow dryer brush, and it's an excellent choice for people who's new to blowing out their hair. The Drybar Double Shot gives you double the volume, but if big hair isn't your thing, Drybar also has a Single Shot Blow Dryer Brush (best for sleek and smooth blowouts).

My other favorite hair tool is the T3 Whirl Trio Interchangeable Curling Iron, which I bought at a Sephora Holiday Savings Event back in 2019. The T3 Whirl Trio comes with an interchangeable base and three different curling wand attachments. At the beginning of each week, I use either my Dyson Airwrap or Drybar Double Shot to blow out my hair, then I give my hair a slight bend with my T3 Whirl Trio 1.5" barrel attachment.

I'm constantly switching up my skincare routine, and Sephora makes it so easy for me to do that. I love all of Summer Fridays products, but two of my must-haves are the Jet Lag Mask and Overtime Mask (the Overtime Mask smells like pumpkins!).

In addition to face masks, I've also invested in quite a few skincare tools over the years. Over the summer, I bought the Dermaflash – Dermapore Pore Extractor and Serum Infuser. This tool uses ultrasonic technology to unclog pores and infuse serums into your skin, resulting in a healthier complexion. I like to use it with my face steamer once a week for a spa-like experience.

My lips have been so dry over the last few months. It happened about a month after I started using the original Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm. Has this happened to anyone else? Anyway, I’ve tried lots of hydrating lip masks to make it better and the Tatcha The Kissu Lip Mask and Laneige Vanilla Lip Sleeping Mask have worked the best.

Chloé is my all-time favorite perfume, and their Roses de Chloé is mmm! * chef's kiss* The rose scene is light and subtle and perfect for everyday wear. I also like Gucci Bloom, but the scent is too strong for daytime use, so I only wear it on special occasions. My latest fragrance purchase is the Gisou Honey Infused Hair Perfume. It smells so good and when I use it it makes me feel luxurious.
