Life Lately No. 2
Happy Monday, friends! The last two weeks have been insanely stressful at work (mostly because i've taken on much more than I can handle). I feel like i've recharged appropriately with shopping and carbs and am ready to power through this busy week.
Hilarious Christmas pictures: A friend of ours just sent me a bunch of pictures she took of me and Angel during Christmas and I laugh every time I see it in my albums. I already posted one to my Instagram so here's another one that'll hopefully make you LOL.
Big sister duties: Today i'm helping my sister, Camryn, move in to her dorm as a senior in high school! *Cries* The both of us have had the amazing opportunity to attend the same boarding school at the expense of packing up our lives at just 14 (me) and 12 (her) to attend the school of our dreams. She has overcome so many obstacles over the last six years and I am so proud of her!
Birthday festivities: Every August 1st, Angel surprises me with gifts for my birthday (August 16) to kick-off Jessika Month and this year he surprised me with roses, Koloa Rum Punch, and a family pack of Oreos. (He just knows me, lol)! Looking forward to whatever else he has planned — he's a sneaky suckah and already revealed my second surprise — a weekend staycation in Waikiki!
An easy AF recipe to get you through the week: I've been trying to cook more in hopes that I stop spending so much money on eating out. So I tried this Easy AF Stuffed Bell Peppers recipe and loved it! Instead of using ground chicken, I used ground turkey and I subbed mozzarella cheese for Mexican cheese (because that's what I had at home, lol) and it came out super 'ono! Four large bell peppers served in halves (eight meals total) served with a side of steamed veggies made dinner and lunch leftovers for the week. WIN 👊🏼 What's your go-to quick and easy recipe?
