Life Lately October 2021: 72-Hours in Disneyland
Is it just me, or did October fly by? The other night I told my husband Angel I couldn’t believe it was November because I swear it was just May.
Anyway, last month was a hectic work month! I spent most of the month trying to tap back into my wellness routine to help manage the stress. At first, I tried picking up where I last left off and discovered that that routine was no longer serving me. Instead, I listened to my body and found out that she needed some exercise to help with the stress and anxiety. I’m subscribed to Apple Fitness+ and love working out after work with my girls LaShawn, Sam, and Kim.
Blogging has also helped me with my stress and anxiety this last month. I always say writing helps me process things, so I’ve been making time to get some creativity in. Catch up on the latest blog posts here.
We went back to Disneyland for our first wedding anniversary. It was a quick 72-hour trip, but sosososo worth it. We got to see the parks all decorated for Halloween, eat some fall-inspired Disney food, ride the Haunted Mansion turned Nightmare Before Christmas ride (twice!), and meet up with a college friend we haven’t seen since 2011! I also bought my first Disney NuiMOS on this trip, and now I’m obsessed. Follow our Disney Instagram account (@disneywithdaorozcos) to keep up with all our Disney adventures.
I also attended a friend’s going away party this month. I met her at an old job, and while I’m sad she’s leaving, I’m so happy for her and her new adventure I’m already looking forward to visiting her in Colorado (I’ve never been!). We both love Disney too, so maybe we can finally get around to that all-girls Disney trip we’ve been talking about for a while.
That’s pretty much all we had time to do this past month. We’re off to Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa, for a few days for Angel’s birthday. I bought Angel a GoPro for his birthday, so I can’t wait to put together what he records.
